I acknowledge that an express mechanic's lien might be placed on the vehicle to secure payment for the costs of the repairs.Insurance *I hereby authorize the Insurance Company to remit payment directly to Sandrof Auto Body for all supplemental and original repairs to my vehicle. In the event that the insurance company designates my vehicle as a total loss, I acknowledge that Sandrof Auto Body will cease all repair work, regardless of whether I retain ownership of the vehicle, unless an alternative agreement is established. Reassembly of disassembled parts will only be performed if payment is approved by either myself or the insurance company, and complete reassembly may not be feasible due to the extent of the damages. Furthermore, I understand that if my claim is with an insurance company that is not a direct repair partner of Sandrof Auto Body, I will be responsible for any costs or fees not covered by the insurance company that are necessary to repair my vehicle in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.Payment Policy *Accepted Methods of Payment: Insurance Checks (best method) Cash Debit Card Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and AMEX) I understand that all payments, including but not limited to deductible payment, any payments I have received from my insurance company based on the estimate for my damages, and any self-pay add-ons or co-pay portions, are due before the vehicle will be released. In the event Sandrof Auto Body, its assigns, or agent must institute civil or criminal proceedings to collect on an outstanding balance, I will be liable for the reasonable costs incurred, including but not limited to attorney's fees and costs of litigation. There is a $35 fee for all returned checks.Cancelations *I acknowledge that a 25% restocking fee will be applied in the event of cancellation of scheduled repairs after parts have been ordered. Furthermore, I understand that I will be responsible for the full cost of any parts that cannot be returned.Drop Off and Personal Property *All customers are requested to be present during vehicle drop-off to conduct a walk-around with a repair specialist. This process facilitates thorough documentation of all damages and ensures an accurate distinction between claim-related damages and any unrelated prior damages. Should I choose to forgo this walk-around, I acknowledge that Sandrof Auto Body will photograph and record a video check-in of the vehicle, which will serve as documentation of its condition at the time of drop-off. I understand that Sandrof Auto Body will not be held liable for theft or damage to any personal items left inside the vehicle, including but not limited to iPods, iPads, cameras, sunglasses, credit cards, cash, CDs, golf clubs, and other personal belongings. Additionally, customers are advised to leave the vehicle with a full tank of gas to facilitate necessary test drives, calibrations, and transport to sublet vendors for mechanical services, such as alignments, tires, or computer diagnostics, as required by manufacturer guidelines. Sandrof Auto Body charges $9.95 per gallon for fuel supplied for the purpose of repairs.Pickup and Storage *I acknowledge that Sandrof Auto Body will impose a storage fee of $75 per day for outside storage and $150 per day for inside storage if the vehicle is not picked up within three business days of the completion of repairs, as well as for all vehicles not repaired by the shop. I understand that Sandrof Auto Body will not be responsible for any auto rental expenses or related insurance costs incurred during the repair process. Additionally, I recognize that once a representative from Sandrof Auto Body notifies me that my vehicle is ready for pickup, I have 24 hours, or until the following business day, to retrieve the vehicle before any potential costs associated with insurance-supplied rentals begin to accrue.Schedule *I acknowledge that estimated completion dates might be delayed. Sandrof Auto Body strives to complete the repair as quickly as possible, but delays may occur due to circumstances beyond the shops control, including factors, but not limited to, part availability, insurance approvals, timely payment submission, and unforeseen issues related to hidden damage, calibrations or part fitment. I understand that I have the right to drop off and pick up my vehicle at any Sandrof facility within the same region that is most convenient for me. However, it is recommended to use the same location for both drop-off and pick-up to ensure the best communication between the front office staff and myself. Sandrof Auto Body is committed to providing the fastest and safest repairs possible. To achieve this, my vehicle may be relocated to other Sandrof-owned facilities as needed to ensure the quickest turnaround time. All Sandrof facilities uphold the same standards of quality and diligence regarding workmanship, parts, and materials. In the event that my vehicle needs to be relocated, the shop will notify me and provide an opportunity to adjust or confirm my desired pick-up location.OEM PartsSandrof Auto Body strongly recommends the use of OEM (original equipment manufacturer) parts and adherence to manufacturer repair requirements. This practice ensures that we utilize new OEM parts from your vehicle's manufacturer and follow all repair procedure guidelines for safety. Manufacturers advise against using alternative (aftermarket or used) parts, as these do not undergo the same rigorous safety testing that new OEM parts do. Consequently, alternative parts may not perform as intended in the event of a subsequent accident and could interfere with the functionality of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems present in most vehicles. Upon disassembly of the vehicle, a comprehensive estimate, along with the appropriate manufacturer documentation, will be submitted to the insurance company for payment. However, it is important to note that insurance companies do not always cover the full cost of new OEM parts. If the insurance does not approve the cost of new OEM parts, the vehicle owner has several options: The owner may pursue the party responsible for the accident to cover the price difference. If applicable, the owner can utilize an appraisal clause in their insurance policy. This process requires the owner to hire an independent appraiser, while the insurance company hires another independent appraiser. These two appraisers will engage in arbitration to reach an agreement on the coverage for repairs. The owner may file a claim with their own insurance company, allowing them to subrogate against the other party's insurance. Sandrof Auto Body will permit the use of aftermarket or used parts only if the vehicle owner releases Sandrof Auto Body from all liability associated with the use of parts not recommended by the manufacturer by selecting the appropriate option.
